Seasoning Your New Cigar Humidor: To began, it’s important to season the humidor before use. The cedar wood, dehydrated in a drying oven, will have unstable temperature and humidity. Place a cup of distilled water inside for 1-2 days, then remove the cup after the temperature and humidity stabilize at approximately 70% and 70℉, and then place your cigars inside.
-
Further Seasoning: Use a humidifier soaked in distilled water for about 15 minutes, then wipe down the humidor with distilled water to moisturize dry cedar wood. Place your cigars inside once the humidity is between 65%-75%.
